Medical secretary (Practice Manager)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced medical secretary to join the team at KMS Professionals. Previous experience in the NHS or private sector is required for this role. Knowledge of running a private practice, DGL Practice Manager and an AMSPAR qualification or equivalent would be seen as an advantage. You will need to be positive, enthusiastic and self motivating with a superb eye for detail and a courteous telephone manner and will be expected to run our consultants practices.

For this role we are looking for a candidate who has previous experience in running a private practice, preferably a knowledge of DGL Practice Manager, and AMSPAR qualification or equivalent.

Candidates will need to be positive, enthusiastic and self-motivating with a superb eye for detail and a courteous telephone manner. They will also need to have a good sense of humour and be sympathetic and compassionate in a professional environment. Teamwork is vital in this role and the fast pace of working should not be underestimated.

Credit control
For this role you will need to ensure our consultant’s accounts are paid on time by patients, insurance companies, solicitors and hospitals by chasing overdue invoices. Alongside experience of dealing with the public, an excellent telephone manner is essential. This is not an accounting role, however credit control experience would be seen as an advantage.

Experienced administrator
A good sound base of administration skills in previous employment is required, including using all aspects of MS Office, where you will play a vital part in assisting our team of practice managers who are running practices.  No medical experience is required for this role as you will receive our in-house

Trainee administrator
No administration experience is required as your training will be delivered in-house making it perfect for someone wishing to start their career in administration. You will however, need to be enthusiastic and confident about answering the telephone.

National Apprenticeship Scheme
This role will allow you to study for a Level 2 Business Administration Apprenticeship through an approved skills provider, alongside working in the office which will allow you to kick start your career in administration and progress within KMS.

Medical typists
We are always keen to hear from experienced medical typists. This role is based working from your own home where you will download digital dictation and transcribe directly into our DGL Practice Manager system. You will however require your own digital playback equipment and software to do this.
