We aim to recruit the highest quality candidates, who not only meet the skills required for the role, but also those who will deliver exceptional service through our core values, every day in everything they do.
Our recruitment process is made up of four simple steps:
Step 1 – your application
Once submitted, you’ll receive online and email confirmation that your application has been sent to our Recruitment Manager. So there’s no need to call us to check we’ve received your application.
Step 2 – short listing
After the vacancy deadline, applications will be short listed against a number of criteria, in line with the job description. If successful, you’ll receive a telephone call and/or email from us inviting you to a telephone interview.
Step 3 – telephone interview
Telephone interviews allow you to tell us a bit more about yourself and ask any questions that you may have. It’s an important part of our selection process as we can find out what makes you drive and what skills you have. If successful during this stage, you’ll be invited to attend a face to face interview.
Step 4 – interview
We’ll give guidance about the format of the interview beforehand.
Interviews are held at KMS HQ in East Farleigh, Maidstone and are another opportunity for you to demonstrate why you should join our team.
You may be asked to do a short-written task.
Your interview is a two-way process – we love a candidate who is engaged with our values and work and is eager to get the most out of the experience of working for us, so… we welcome questions!
For all roles, we will need to see original evidence of your eligibility to work in the UK. You will be asked to bring your passport and visa documents, if applicable.
Step 5 – references
It is important that you have stipulated your full employment history within your application form and highlighted any employment gaps. References will be sought from your current and previous employers.
Your personal information will be held securely and only seen by those involved in the recruitment process.
