Coming from a Marketing and Events background, I was really surprised at how quickly I was able to settle into my role in private practice (thanks to the support and guidance from my new team!). From day one in the office, my time management, customer service skills and attention to detail were put to the test and I have really enjoyed growing into a Practice Manager within my first year.

 

As a growing business KMS has provided me with opportunities and support to progress in my career. Before joining KMS I was a Duty Manager at a childrens soft play centre with little administration experience. I started at KMS as a Trainee Medical Administrator and over the last five years I have been able to advance into the senior management team. I am now completing a Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership with the support of KMS to develop my skill set further, with the goal of progressing to the Operations Manager.

 

I have been part of the lovely KMS team for the past 9 years working my way from a junior administrator up to a Team Leader. I was from a retail and part time administration background. Throughout my time at KMS I’ve been supported by various colleagues to progress and reach my goals.

 

I have been part of the KMS team for 10 years and have hugely developed professionally within this time. I love working at KMS and even after 10 years I still find myself learning. I have worked within different departments, from the practice management team where I was trained to be a team leader and senior practice manager, then eventually moving my way into the accounts team where I was taught to manage accounts and trained in new skills such as book keeping. KMS wants its employees to learn and progress and find a role within the company that makes them happy and at the same time utilising their personal ability. It’s evident as soon as you walk through the door that KMS has a real sense of team and everyone really is great to work with.

 

I came to KMS having only worked in a childcare background having next to no admin experience.  I was welcomed into the team as soon as I arrived and am now confident and happy in my role.  I have learnt so much along the way and feel like I have been here much longer than I have!

 

I joined KMS straight after doing my A-Levels in 2015 as I wanted to do an apprenticeship in Business and Administration. In my first year I achieved a promotion to a practice assistant and since completing my apprenticeship in 2016, I have continued to progress within KMS from a practice manager to becoming a Team Leader Assistant in 2018. Most recently I have become the Social Media Coordinator which is an enjoyable new aspect to my job. From the beginning KMS have always been exceptionally supportive making it very easy for me to settle in and grow as a person, expanding my knowledge and skills continuously.

 

When I started at KMS Professionals this was my first experience within the medical field, having previously worked within the hospitality industry.  Although this was a daunting new career to start, KMS made the transition easy and comfortable. In the last two and a half years I’ve learnt so much more than I could have imagined, and that in itself has increased my self confidence.
